Erin Bounds

Chairman of the Board

Erin Bounds is a business entrepreneur and executive who holds a BS in Consumer Economics from the University of Georgia and an MDiv from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She is a licensed general contractor and co-founder and CEO of The ESB Group. She has served on the board of Designs for Hope and completed an eight-year term on the Board of Trustees for the North American Mission Board, including service as Chairperson of the Board.

Britt Pucket

Vice-Chairman of the Board

Britt completed her undergraduate degree at Troy University and received her MsED from Virginia Tech. She worked in sports medicine, then at Hope Health Center, where she fell in love with advocating for the vulnerable. She has been a fundraiser, advocate, and volunteer for CCC and now serves as vice-chairman of the Board of Directors.

Jim serves as the Director of Short-Term Global Missions at The Church at Brook Hills. He loves developing partnerships and connecting members of the local church to them, and he recognizes the importance of caring for internationals in Birmingham so they may thrive in their new home.

Anne Lucas

Secretary

Anne graduated from Samford University with a major in psychology and grew up as a missionary in Nigeria. She spent almost four decades in technology, serving with Ernst & Young, IBM, and Lucas Information Systems. She is trained in Trauma Healing, is a certified chaplain for Alabama Disaster Relief, and serves with e3 Partners as the Director of Medical Missions.

Alex Leath

Since 1987, Alex Leath’s law practice has focused on economic development, site selection, and incentive negotiation. He is a partner at Bradley and has worked on projects in 35 states that have invested over $50 billion and created over 45,000 jobs.

Deric Thomas

Board Member

Deric Thomas received his Master of Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Doctorate of Ministry from Beeson Divinity School, and an MBA from Samford University. He is Senior Pastor at Hope Mountain Church in Calera, Director of Operations for Beeson Divinity School, and an Army Chaplain for the Army National Guard.
