Invite families into your home, visit theirs, and build trust by showing genuine care and concern.

Church Care Teams

The support new families need

Small groups or churches form care teams to support refugee or immigrant families for a commitment of one year. Inviting new people into your life opens you up to new experiences and new friendships that God can and will use to bless you! Being a friend and inviting them into your home is the main goal, but there are many practical needs to help with, too, including, but not limited to:

  • rides to doctor appointments
  • childcare needs
  • emergency assistance
  • helping with paperwork
  • answering any questions they may have in their first year in the United States
  • visiting them in their home

Refugee Support

Being a friend means showing up and helping out! Our clients need support and need help making new friends here in their new city. Churches and small groups partner with us to meet some of these needs, while being a blessing and making new friends along the way.
